help on horseshoe crab help!!!!

i have a small 30 gallon tank with sand and some rock mostly a small fish tank for small stuff i have a small horshoe i just added. my tank is 77 degrees is it too hot for him? will he fit in? work well with sand? thanks

i have one in my 90 gallon, and he hasent bothered anything. It will take it a long time to grow big, so for a while your set up is fine. He will dig in the sand in search of food, and if he hides a lot make sure u dig him out every once in a while and feed him so he dosent starve. Also he will be fine at that temp.
 
Mine has done fine!!
I see him sometimes but have never fed him directly. My tank is well established so I guess thats why he hasn't starved!! :)

most thing it just depends or is a hit/miss...I have heard in time they will deplete sand of any beneficial life though...hence the constant sand stirring...but that might take time or may not be a concern
