Help on setting up a QT tank!!

Anybody know how i would setup filtration w/ these acrylic fish tanks?? I got 2 for free. I think these came from walmarts fish store.

I think you can get plugs for those drilled holes and just use a basic in tank filter without carbon and heater.

There are internal filters on the market. I don't want to break any rules on the forum by listing websites or products, but they can be found!

whoops i miss read ur reply ok ill look into it but if i werent to use in tank filter how would i use the holes in the back?? would i need a sump??

They sell plugs for those holes so you could keep everything in tank. If you wanted to make a sump, I guess you could. Most people don't really mind the look their QTs as they are just that, QTs. Also, unless you already had everything (another tank, return pump, etc.) it would be a lot cheaper to just plug that one, or invest in a new 10G. Also, you may want to paint/cover 3 sides of the QT black or blue.

where would i get the plugs?? What do i need for a qt tank?? besides the filter?? How do u cycle it or do i just use the water from my 75 gall??
