last week one of are fellow reefers got their house robbed! it was gregm779. a couple of us started a donation for him since he doesnt have insurance. if u would like to help please send a dollar(or more if u like!) via paypal at gregmatthews@bellsouth.net . thanks for all your help. if everyone sends a buck, it will add up. the more people the better.

Joe, I don't have paypal, but when I see you tomorrow (or whenever, I'm sure it'll be soon) I'll give you a dollar or something.
I hope we're able to collect a decent amount of money for the poor guy. Does he go on reefcentral as well? I like these boards more because people are nicer here IMO, but more people visit and post to reefcentral. Just a thought to get the guy more money.
I hope they catch whoever robbed him. I hate people like that...

Hey, I think it's awesome what you are doing for him. I am sorry to hear that he got robbed. I sent $5, so you should be getting my donation soon. You should keep this post alive. Maybe post it on the New Hobbyists board as well, since there are so many readers there too.

Good idea. Can one of the mods maybe copy this thread over to that forum as well? I don't know if that's possible. We can always start the same thread over there.

I'll get you a buck. Good luck with the cops, I got robbed years ago and they caught the guy. After he went to court he was released, never got my stuff back either. Really sucked.

Thanks alot guys, it's cool to see how people are willing to help in times of need. I'm gonna use the money donated to buy a new digital camera so I can at least pay you guys back somewhat with pics. That was one of the things that they took and I need to replace it because I use it for work anyways.

I just wanted to thank everyone who gave, it wasn't enough for a new camera but will help towards it. Really, Thank You guys and JoBob for starting this thread.
