We have 2 peppermint shrimp and we brought 4 nerite snails and after acclimating them we put them in the tank. As soon as the smallest one started going towards the shrimp's cave one of the shrimp came out and started picking at it and finally dragged it in. It bagan to go after the other ones and the next morning we cant find 3 of the snails. What is going on?

Sounds like your shrimp are hungry....Have you fed them at all?

Try to put some meaty foods (maybe a piece of raw shrimp or scallop) in there for them

Mine will come out and take it right off the feeding stick

yes i have fed them, i originally got them because i had some aiptasia. I usually let some pieces of shrimp near their cave for them. Also we just added a diamond watchman goby and they seem to stare each other down.

What if... NOTHING is in your tank?
I have all those snails, and now the three fish... a ton of algae and a lot of "junk" should I assume they are eating the junk rather than my tiny little snails? I've seen only 1 or 2 since I added them into my tank. I don't see a nesting of empty shells though in their little hide out...

when you feed your fish, do the shrimp come out and get any bits that fall to the bottom of the tank? Mine do and this is how they are feed. To prevent them from eating this and not "hunting" for food. I switched to flakes for the fish. It was at this time that the one pepp disapeared and the fire shrimp had that sh!t eating grin on his face. I am doing the same thing now, flakes in morning and mysis at night and the 2 pepps are still alive and these 2 are actually more active than the old ones if that could have been possible. I have seen these 2 on the top of the rocks "hunting" and I am sure that the aiptasia that I have will be going away soon.

I see this is an older thread (from August), but it's possible that the OP doesn't have Lysmata wurdemanni. There are other shrimp that resemble "true" peps that are predatory such as camel shrimp (Rhynchocinetes durbanensis). It also might be that your snails were dying and the peps did what they do best...clean up. OR, as mentioned, they might be starving...
