HELP!!! Please get my black tang to eat!!!!!!

I recently got a black tang on tuesday the 30th, and i cant get him to eat. i have tried everything i mean everything that i can think of or get. I have tried brine shrimp mysis shrimp, emerald entree, squid, red seaweed selects, the normal green seaweed selects, plankton, and all sorts of calerpa and live plants. i have a chevron and a naso in with him. the naso doesnt bother him anymore or the chevron but he still refuses to eat. he isnt that shy and he comes out alot still but i cant get him to keep down anything. he will suck somthing in but spit it right back out. he is in a 125 . he also does still have a few spots of ick but they have mostly gone away . i am doing everything i can think of to cure the ick and get him to eat. can anyone think of anything i can do difeerently or anything else to try feeding him. i really dont want to loose this fish considering i paid 250 dollars for him. i did make sure he was eating at the store as i always check to see if the fish eats before i buy. he ate fine there he was eating a mixture of emarald entree and mysis shrimp. any info or help would be of great use. thanks

Why did you buy such an expensive fish that has ick??
You say you are doing everything to cure the ick, but you don't mention what you are doing? What type of tank do you have? Can you treat the fish in your main tank [only if FO]???
This fish is probably not eating because it is ill. To help, we need to know if you can treat the fish with hyposalinity in tank, or if you will need to setup a separate hospital tank.
Just because you don't see much ick on the fish at the moment, doesn't mean that ick is "cured". It simply means that the ick is going thru its 3-stage cycle, which includes a period of time where you will not see the spots...but, it will reappear wo treatment.

I can't understand why you bought a fish with ick either but its your money. Try feeding it Romaine Lettuce not iceberg. It should really like that. Also try Live brine not frozen.

Live brine drive my fish crazy and I've never seen a fish not eat them I would try that.
Good luck with the expensive but nice looking fish.

Seachem used to (still does?) make a product that came as a powder in a little roll of quarters sized tube that was an appetite stimulant. Cant remember the name but it got a blue ribbon eel eating.... ask your LFS....

why does eveybody assume that he bought the fish with ick, give him a little more credit, nobody is that stupid, especially when they are forking out 250$ for a fish and every tank has ick in it, but it only effect the fish that get to stressed out
