Help Please

I bought 10 pounds of "cured" live rock on april 9th. Now my tank is in a mini cycle. What do I do? My levels are getting high. I did a water change and it didnt help should i do a bigger one. If i buy more live rock should I put it in a bucket with saltwater and let it sit with a small powerhead for a few days. Will this help.

How long has your tank been set up?
Yes I would definitely put future purchases of live rock into a separate container of saltwater circulating with a powerhead for at least two weeks.

If the rock is indeed cured then you shouldnt have too much of a problem adding it straight into the tank as long as you dont do alot at once. Like do maybe 5lbs at a time, but the again it might not be all the way cured because if the LFS got it a week ago they will prolly tel you its cured even though its not all the way. You should as how your lfs cures its rock if they just add it right into the 'rock tank' then it will not be cured a week after they get it however if they put it into a curing vat for a few weeks before putting it into the 'rock tank' then it has a much better chnce of being actually cured.
