Help Please

Hello everyone...My clown fish has a hurt fin on the side. It look alittle beaten up. Will this heal on it own or is there something i can do. It lays on its side until i get ready to feed then she comes out to eat. She swims okay but retreats back to lay on side after feeding. Will this get better?

Nemo had a little fin and he did fine.
In all seriousness though he should be fine. If you have a qt I would consider placing him there to let him heal stress free. If not, just hope for the best.

you can add melafix if it is an injury which will help open wounds and help fins grow back.

I say put the fish in QT and use the Melafix as well.

Thanks for all the advice have done that and all seem to be working slowly but surely.

Just follow the directions on the Melafix and you should be good to go. Just don't put it in your display tank. I've read where people have put Melafix in the display tank and the skimmer went nuts on them.
