I have had my 55 setup for about 3 months. I know patience is key. I have 60lbs of live rock and 60lbs of live sand. I started the cycle with raw shrimp. I had an ammonia spike then it went away then I had a small spike in my nitrates, then it went to zero. I never had any spike in my nitrites. I did a 15% water change. Is it say for me to add a cleanup crew then about 2 weeks later add 2 clowns?
Param's taken today
Ammonia:0
Nitrates:0
Nitrites:0
PH: 8.2
SG:35
Temp:78

Yes, I agree that you can add. I would also recommend setting up a QT for your fish additions.

I already have a 14 gallon QT setup and I am ready to go on that it has been cycled and ready for fish I am just ghost feeding it every few days to make sure it stays cycled. thanks for the input though.

I agree :)
Side note: keep in mind that snails, emerald crabs, and hermit crabs primarily feed off of algae. If you don't have much algae growing in your tank then they will slowly starve. And if you have brown algae, astrea snails will eat it more than the rest. Nass snails are always a great addition, as they will eat uneaten food and fish poo. If you don't have any algae I would start by adding a fish and some nass snails.

I had a couple of larger nass snails in my 60g. I had to get rid of one because they were causing problems and may have been responsible for the destruction of my clam. Just be carefull with them and only get little ones
