How long has your tank been setup?
The brown will go away if it is a new system and it is normal to have it doing all kinds of weird things before it settles down.

I agree about the snails. Also, I don't think you have enough flow in your tank. My guess would be that your getting it in collected areas and not in general all over? Dead spots in flow..??

6 months

i agree the flow is to low for a 125 gallon tank you need a pump at least 1350 gph, cus that put is rated for 780 but its really putting out about 500, remember that the heigth and the diameter of the tubing makes the pump less effective

towards the bottom corners there is little flow, everything else seems fine. The diatoms are all over the rocks and i scraped whats on the glass off. it looked better yesterday after i cleaned it, but when i came home from work today its back all over. Also I treated the tank with red slime remover for the red slime algae I had about 2 days ago. now I turn the skimmer back on and that thing is going crazy I empty about 10 gallons of water and skim it collected and its still going. How much longer will this last???

6 months... I didn't see that, sorry.
Go for many more hermit crabs, 10 is not enough for 125g and water flow is important.

I have the mods kits on them so there supposed to push 2100gph a piece with those kits

You get the blue legged or the red legged or the scarlet hermits, they will not eat the snails.

I don't think the snails or the crabs are the issue. I don't have near that many and I don't have that issue. Looks as if you killed off some important items when you killed off the red slime. You might just want to wait it out a few more days.

well I had the red slime and diatoms all together so the slime is gone but the diatoms remain.

Weird.... Welp, I'm out of ideas then. Its looks as if you have everything in line. Over feeding? How are your lights? How many are in that fixture?
