I looked over at my tank & a huge white looking, string spiderweb stuff was all over the place- WHAT IS IT? Anyone know???
FYI I have prego peppermint shrimp... could all this be from having the babies??

Probably the infamous black widow reef spider...they do this. What ever you do, don't stick you hands in there...

OK just kidding. It is likely fisher worms. The put out thin strands like spider webs, collect stuff and "reel" it back in. They are beneficial. However it could be something else entirely. It's hard to know without a picture...post one up to get proper I.D.

Is that a yellow slimer acro in there? Looks like one to me. It may be it secreting slime. Do a series of water changes.......I dont think this is from your peppermint. How bout a full tank shot? Somethings either really happy, or not happy at all.
