I was just given a strawberry hermit crab. I have a 44gl reef tank. Inhabitants include a pair of percs, a half black angel, acros, heliofungia, anemones, a cleaner shrimp, and severyal algae eating hermits, is the strawberry hermit OK to add???? help quick b/c he is acclimating as we speek!!

As long as you have plenty of algea for the several hermits then it should be alright. I would alos wait till someone with more experience also answers.

I have on in my 30g and he kills everything his size and takes there shells, mostly snails is what he goes for, he has never bothered any fish.

why spring? I just did a new year dive at Table Rock. 49 degrees but it was a good way to bring in the new year.
