Help removing an aptasia

Hey so I I have a 10 gallon tank with a modded AquaClear filter/refug. I have a freaking aptasia in the intake to the tube that feeds the aquaclear filter. How should I get this bugger? I have Joes Juice but I'm hesitant to spray it cause then the juice will go all into my refug. and then all over my tank. Any advice? Should I try the boiling water trick? Thanks

Cant you remove the whole Aquaclear tube itself like you would do for cleaning?
