Help! Strange stuff in my tank!

I woke up this morning and saw several white string like creatures attached to my glass and live rock. They are white in colour and about an inch long. They appear to have a roundish like head, which is where they attach, and somewhat resemble a spider's web.
What are these and are they dangerous to my tank? If they are not good, how do I get rid of them?

Probably some type of worm. I do not think they will hurt your tank. I would just add a fish that would eat em. There are millions of types of creatures in the sea. Occasionally your lucky enough to get a handfull in some live rock. Enjoy them. If they become a problem, find their natural predator and let it do the work.
