hello, I have a 29g reef ATM and I am wanting to switch it into my new 75g the problem I am having is getting my 75 ready for my coral and fish from my 29g.
I have a coralife 125 skimmer and a marineland 55 canister both running on the 29 should I use my skimmer to cycle the 75 or should I use my canister? whatever one I use for my 75 the other will be on my coral tank until it is cycled.
thanks! all of your posts are much appreciated.

I would leave everything on your 29 gallon. A little more info would be nice. Is there new liverock/livesand in the 75? Is the liverock cured/recently shipped/ dry?
If you are just moving everything over to your 75 and adding nothing new, I would just do it all at once. Including the water from the 29. Then it would be similar to a 60% water change.
If you are cycling with new live rock all you need is flow and something like food to get bacteria into the rock.
That is what I would do, but you should see what other people think because I could be totally wrong.
