Check the stand to ensure that it is level. If it is NOT then, that is why the seam burst. I would not try to fix as suggested, I would scrap it as everyone says. Sorry for your headaches.

Glad to hear you got it done! Awesome. Can't wait to see your new tank! What size did you get? We took advantage of our leak and upgraded from a 55 to a 90g!

Also got rid of the CC and added LS and I love it!

I guess a leak is a good thing...but only rarely!!!!!
