HELP - TINY BUBBLES IN TANK FROM PROTEIN SKIMMER

hELP I PURCHASED AN ETSS SUPER REEF DEVIL IN SUMP SKIMMER THE THING WORKS GREAT BUT NOW I HAVE THOUSANDS OF TINY AIR BUBBLES BEING RETURNED TO THE TANK THE SKIMMER DISCHARGES INTO THE SUMP AND I HAVE A MAG DIVE RETURNING WATER TO TANK I PUT A PIECE OF NYLON PANTYHOSE OVER THE INTAKE OF THE MAG PUMP BECAUSE SOMEONE SAID THIS WOULD STOP THE BUBBLES FROM RETURNING TO THE TANK THIS DID'NT WORK ANY OTHER SUGESSTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANKS

There is a filter sock that is a thick woven material. These things elimanate bubbles well. You can get one and use it on the intake of that mag and it will probably do the trick.
That are you can put a bubble trap in your sump.

thanks predator i'll try the filter sock where do you get one at? lfs? also, where do you obtain a bubble trap for the sump? thanks for the help

your over skimming . Does you skimmer have an adjustment. I use a prizim skimmer it amazing , quiet and it collects a ton of crap . the only time I would get bubbles is when the flow is too high

hockey player thanks for replying there is a flow control from the pump to the skimmer and a outlet control on the skimmer this outlet control adjust the amount of bubbles in the chamber i've played with this control and have it set right the unit was expensive and works great as i said before it drains back into the sump causing bubbles which in turn are sucked back into the tank via my return pump. predators suggestion for a filter sock might work or a bubble trap i'm waiting for lfs to open up to see about either one any more suggestions would be appreciated thanks
