HELP Urgent, my tank is under clouds...

My tank become like this in less than 15 mins..
I got home lid the lights and the most significant thing I realised is my halimeda like plant bleached not white but whiter than yesterday..
I made some aragamilk addition, like i always do, few drops...
and got to dinner,
15 mins later it's like this..
please help urgent.. .
Skimmer is on...

It definately went sexual. It's just after the lights come on that they blow.
I have many macros tanks and went through this alot before I learned to read my macro. Do the above and you will be fine.

Your oxygen is probably low. I would yank them out. Halimeda shouldn't spew all the contaminents back into the water like some of the other macros. Get that water bubbling or pull him out to some clean water in a bucket. Do you have back up water? Air pump?
I'm sure the oxygen level is pretty low because they aren't even gapping at the top.

ok now, I bought carbon and put it in the filter,
took the macro out,
caught a clown took it to the upper levels of the water with fish net...
my wavepump work above the level pumping also air,
skimmer is like crazy...
going to the water change (got no emergency water )
should I do it rite now, or wait till the water cleans ..
When should it be fine,
an hour, a day ???

it was like this, before tonites flash event...
I guess the plant is not halimeda but, mermaid's fan plant..
it's both calcareous anyway...

Wait until the new water is safe.
It will clear in a few hours. It always happens to me when I worked the night before and didn't catch the warning signs. Then I go to bed a sleep for a few and when I get back up all is normal.
Is it were a macro like caulerpa it would be spewing ammonia and other organics back into the water.
And you noticed it was whitier than usual the day before?

yes it was whiter than the day before, and 3 days ago it was great..
it started to wrinkle then whiter, yesterday and today more white..
I took the macro out, in a bucket with the water that will be changed..
what to do with it ?
And how do you handle the situation if you know it's gonna go asexual...took the plant out then what ?

If there were good spots left I would leave them, if not I would remove the whole things. Once it goes... it goes. There's no saving it.
I'll get another pic with a load about to go.

When you said clouds I assumed white. Do you know what phyto looks like?
I don't know what amazon water looks like.

On a side note, I didn't realize halimeda went s3xual. Or calcareous plant in general.

you have the pics... you can see it..
It's not halimeda probably it's maiden's plant..
it's not green but foggy and a little green.. maybe because of the blue backwallpaper,
but the first pics are more closer to the real color that I see, the later ones are dark and wrong mostly..
It's been almost 6 hours...
no change in the water ?
what do you think my friend ?
I switched of the lights and left the wave pump little upper than the water level for air bubbles, and going to sleep now ?
Any last advice ?
