I have a dual overflow.....2 1 1/4" tubes.....one will always have a small air bubble...and over a few days it increases....I then have to take the tube out and re-start the siphone
OVER AND OVER I do this
I purchased an aqualifter vacuum pump to help with this.....BUT......HOW the heck do I hook it up????/
A nipple was suggested to me...that I insert into the top of the tube.....BUT I have no idea what to do with this thing
HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

lol...yes you could drill a hole and insert one of the air tubing connectors and glue it to the top of the overflow tube. Or you could drill a hole just big enough to insert the airline tubeing right on the top...maybe smear some silicone around it to seal it. I used the "nipples" on my diy overflow. The strait ones...

OK....there are 2 ports on the aqualifter.....obviously.....one is the vacuum which would go on the top of the tube....the other is where the air/and or water comes out....do you just stick that end back in your tank????
ALSO.....Do you leave this thing on all the time then???????????

Yeah the suction side gets connected to the U-tubes. What you could do is get one of those Tee's like in the picture up top and connect the two hoses coming off u-tubes to the Tee. Then connect your suction hose from the aqua lifter to the Tee as well and then put the other hose from the qaua lifter to drain into the backside of the overflow where the bulkhead is. Yep...leave it runnin 24/7.

You have two u-tubes? One for each tube! They connect to the two sides of the Tee and then the suction from the pump gets connected to the bottom side of the Tee. Basically splitting the suction hose in order to suck air out of both of the tubes. You pickin up what I'm puttin down, Meow?

If one is all you think you need than just do one. If you feel like it's needed than you can always do the other one at another time.

Pump and overflow are off....That will happen when the flow just isn't right, the 1 will air lock.....The suggestions of the nipple; air line fittings would work.....You can get the U tubes from customaquatics for about $6.00 each....should be easy to drill if you take your time.....

I would do both tubes as it is always better to be safe than sorry.
As far as the camera, there are easier ways to go about getting your pics off of it. Do you have windows XP or the newer jankier carp? As far as the camera itself, does it have a reset button on it? Did it come with its own software? If you rather do this in a different thread or via PM, both are fine for me.
