Help w/ pairing maroons, Snailheave?

i have been trying to pair my maroons using the methos snailheave described in his thread. how long did it take? how long do i leave the little clown out, and how do i know if they wont pair? it has been around a week and my large maroon still attacks the small one.

if the pairing is going to happen, it will happen within five minutes after you release the smaller clown. if the female is not accepting the smaller fish for whatever reason within 5 minutes, it won't accept it no matter how long you leave it out.
you can try letting it out for 5-10 minutes every other day for up to three times. rest of the time, keep the smaller fish in the cage and place the cage at a location where the female can see the male.
if after three times they still don't pair up, find her a new mate.

i dont know anybody who can house my maroon. anyone in the san gabriel/ LA area who is willing to trade?

what do you mean?
you can trade in with a fish store for a new fish if that's what you mean.
