Help! What are these in my tank?

As I was looking real close at my glass I noticed these very small white critters moving around. they are about half the size of a grain of salt. Can anyone tell me what these are? Harmful? Helpful, Neutral?

Yep, they're called copepods and they mean your tank is doing well.

I am a couple weeks out my cycle and have a good deal of them on my glass. I was worried at first, but the people here at SWF.com told me not to. My clowns and peppermint shrimp are now eating some of them and they seem to be harmless.
P.S. what is clinical engineering?

I'm the manager for a CLinical Engineering department at a hospital. We repair and maintain patient care equipment. We take care of equipment such as patient monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, radiology equipment, etc.
