So I have a 12 gallon nano cube that has been up and running for the past 8 months, all corals/fish/cuc were added within a week or so of each other, and the tank has been running normally for 7 months or so... In the past 2 weeks the only remaining coral (i moved a lot of it to my 29) which is green zoas and toadstool leather have not opened up at all... I did the water check, nitratre/nitrite/pH/calcium/salinity all checked out to be in good condition...
The green zoa colony has 8 or 9 polyps that open on a daily basis while the others stay closed. I asked my lfs and they weren't sure what it could be. So I came home tonight and took a closer look at the corals, pulled the zoas out of the nano and put them in a small bucket and saw these little guys jumping off the colony... are they bad/good/etc, what are they.....?
I caught about 12 of them and called my lfs and they said they thought they were "good" creatures from the description but figured id post here as well.
thanks
Steve
