Help! What are these white spots?

Can someone please Id the white spots that are on both sides of my Kole. He has been in my DT for 1 week now. He did not have these spots yesterday.

Hmmph, Looks a little different than Ich, but that could just be distortion from having the shutter open longer. Usually Ich is just Tiny white spots. I am not a expert in diseases to give you an answer, sorry, I do hope some one can come in with some concrete evidence

Are those marks faded spots or do they stick out from the fish? Get a good look with a magnifying glass and tell us what you see. Please post your water readings also.

Ich is more like a little grain of salt stuck to him, I can not tell from your picture. Most of the time you will find it on the fins or gills first, so I don't think that is what it is unless it is a real bad case of it. If that is the case and they look like salt crystals on him, I would do a fresh water dip or do a hypo treatment in your hospital tank. I am by no means an expert though.
