I have a 155 fowlr with 2 porc puffers. I have these little white pineapple looking things attached to my LR all over the place. Maybe 1/4-1/2" long. Are these some kind of "pods" or something. I had a ton of something moving around the tank 2 months ago before ick out break but none now. I think what ever i had is in the growing phase now. thanks for your help

"Q-tip sponges" also, appropriately called pineapple sponges.
Very common in tanks and tend to bloom now and again, based on available nutrients in the tank.

They are basically neutral. They don't really cause issues unless they clog things up, but if they are in very high numbers, you may wish to review feeding and nutrient levels.

Just to share a bit of experience:
I had many QT sponges when my tank was young, now after 4 years running this tank, there are none. I kind of miss them.
