Help: What are they??

any one know.......i have what look like sweeper tenticles coming out of my live rock(white and thin).....it looks like they originate in small holes in the rock and extend out about 2 inches.
The tank has only been set-up for 9 days and i started with uncured live rock so i am still in the begining of my cycle...i cant get pics or else i would post them (they retract almost as soon as my lights go on)
What are they and if they are bad how do i get rid of them

without a picture it would be guess work as there are dozens of creatures that dwell in LR that can have whiteish tentacles. (it could be brittle star legs, or polychaete worms, or one of a dozen other things too)
