HELP!! What is my star doing??? (video inside)

Ok i posted a thred a few days ago about a hitch hiker star I found. Well tonight I noticed it doing the strangest thing. It went to the top of the tank and hung upside down then little floresent orange things started coming out of it. They were the same color as the star (the one in the pic below is it) and looked like little bee bee's. Does anyone know what this is. My first thought is that it is laying egg's. If so will they hatch or do they need someone else to come by and finish the process?

I don't know either, but whatever it is its cool. Our CC star has never done anything like that before.

It looks like a fromia to me. Not a bad thing at all. They do best with lots of live rock.
