HELP, What Light Setup Is This?

In my opinion the ultimate setup would be a couple 150 or 175 Metal Halides and your existing lights as supplement. The big problem is room. I doubt you would have the width on your tank to allow both lights.
The Extreme Pro is a nice light for the money. I am sure you will be happy. I would upgrade the stock bulbs after you have run the light 6 months. The bulbs that come with the Nova lights are ok but far from great.
I will try not to muddy the waters any more.

Yeah width is an issue. I could probably build some type of light hood to house them though....Are the MH a certain light bulb that can go in any fixture or are they a complete fixture themselves?

And use a ton of electricity?

You get more lumen from metal halide versus T5 when the wattage is equal. Metal halide will deliver higher PAR deeper in the tank. There is a bit more electricity consumption with metal halides, I think I remember it was 10% but I could be wrong. Both types of light have a ballast the big difference is the halide uses a filament versus a gas in the florescent.

Ok sounds complicated. So should I look for MH's as an upgrade or go with one of the pro setups? I want my anemone to be happy!

Check out the MH stickies in the lighting, filtration and equipment thread on reefcentral. Tons of useful info, and since they don't sell anything, they're not a competitor, so the mods here will hopefully not delete this thread.

I got a 48inch fixture for sale...
coralife Aqualight pro ($1100 when new) 6months old, 2x250w MH, 2x96w PC ACT, 3x1w LED moonlights, 3 fans, 2 ballasts. $500shipped. Just thought I'd through that out there, definitely not junk and you can keep anything you want under it. If you want it, I'll run this through that saltwaterauctions crapola...

If money is not an option, you can stand the extra heat and electricity cost a combo metal halide/T5 is the best light available (in my opinion).
For ease, cost and simplicity the Nova Extreme Pro will do the job and keep your anemone happy. Sorry for the confusion just offering other options for consideration.

My electricity bill is already through the roof, I might as well give it a reason to be. What are some good choices for a MH/T5 combo light?

I do not own a combo unit so I can't offer any suggestions. I would stay away from the cheap "auction site" lights. A good combo is going to cost $700-$900. To much for my cheap @$$.

Do you have a 90 or 75gallon? with a 75 you can definitely run T5HOs as they max out at 24inches depth which is where you'll really need MHs..
If you're electricity bill is already high, then just get a T5HO fixture. Just make sure the bulbs are individually reflected.

I have a 72G Bowfront. I am looking at a few of the T5 setups now.
I do have a new question for you though, or anyone else that can answer it.
Why does the setup I have now (the one this thread is about) have 4 power cords coming from it? I know 2 with the bigger cords and 3 prong plugs go to the lights, but I can't figure out the other ones. They are smaller cords that go to a 2 prong plug in which is on a wide box plug. I know one of them is to the fan, but what in the world is the other one for?

Didn't even think about that. I will send them an email but I figured someone on here would be able to help me faster.

ahhh, but people on here cant send u instruction booklets now can they :p see, there is a method to my madness LOL
The numerous instruction books they have online mean nothing when I can't figure out which exact light I have. I think I might have finally found it, and the correct mounting legs to order. According to what I have found so far the light is suppose to have a lunar light, but I don't know where?
