It looks to be a juvenile imperator {aka emporer} angel,it will grow to over a foot in length and needs a very large tank.It is generally not reef safe. It can be kept with caution,w/ certain corals however.
It should be fed angel preparations {formula 1 & 2} mysis shrimp, krill, spirulina, algae sheets or nori, and have plenty of LR on which to graze.Blood worms would not be a good choice IMO.
How long have you had him? What was he eating before?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I just bought the imperator 2 days ago and my LFS told me that it feeds on blood worms and flakes, but I think he is lying.
Wooow it will become quite big, my tank is only a 90 gallons. Do you think I will be able to keep it or better to bring it back to my LFS?
Thanks.

well, if you have any expantion plans in the near future, like a yar or so, i think you will be ok for now. but make sure to check the compatibility with any other fish you might want to introduce to the tank and make sure no appetizing corals are around for him to munch on.
beautiful fish...

Well I would hate to see you get attached to him and then not have a large enough tank for him.
Ultimately it is your choice...but he should be in a 150 gal tank at least.

Thanks for your replies.
Yes I am planning to upgrade my tank in the future.
I am worried because I have not seen it eating yet. This fish comes from the wild, my LFS caught it and sold it to me without knowing what fish it is and what it eats. Can I cut shrimp into pieces and try feeding it? I am planning to add 2 small clown fish and one anemone in the coming weeks, will they be compatible with the imperator??
Thanks.
