hi
so my tank pretty much crashed(24gl nano). firefish died and clownfishes are sick(pop eye) . my frogspawn and torch died, and all other corals( xenia, zoos. rics...) wont open. now i want to know which is the best option to start again.
should i just take all the corals out and put them in a sepetrate tank. then leave live rock and live sand and change all the water. then let it cycle ?would i rinse the sand?(it would be nice to redo the aquascape)
or can i just do big water changes?
any other suggestions?
thanks

FIRST...When did this happen? Have you corrected what was wrong?
As a rule if you change the water, no more than 20% to 30%. Then do lots of testing to get everything back up to par, the coral should show improvement. Xenia is really tuff.
So use a marine and reef master test kit and start getting things up to snuff. Use buffers when needed and such. Always test before doing anything.
Your sand and rock are fine. You can redo the rockwork, it won't hurt anything. Don't bother your sand. Make sure your lights are good and strong...they lose their strength after time.
Hope this helps
