Help with Algae ID

My tank has been set up for about 4yrs and this stuff has popped up on a couple of my live rocks over the past month or so. I go to scrape it off and its like a hard rubber-sponge like feeling. This piece has the least amount on it. The others are covered thick.

Looks like brown round algae to me.
Forgot the exact name. It does feel like that and grow like that though.

Yeah man, I got some in my tank right now you could have too. :D Except, mine is growing all over the back wall glass. lol I take a small scraper attached to a small vinyl tube and as it scrapes the algae off it sucks it outta the tank. Not sure if that would help you now - but if it grows on the back glass - keep it in mind.
