Unfortunately, I have only 2 suggestions:
1 - Get the equipment you now need to sustain it.
2 - Explain the situation to your wife, and take it back to the LFS.
I think you should also ask how she acclimated it, since you said you came home and it was in the tank all ready.

will not survive very long without proper environment!!! Will need 4-6 watts of light (10k/blue atinic), mod to strong current, small cut peice of raw shrimp 1-2x a week, live rock to anchor itself to near light source, add trace elements/iodine per directions, clownfish is optional, maintain good water parameters/quality! This basic care has resulted in my Btip reproducing. good luck!

lmb= lawn mower blenny? should be fine. actually the blenny may be in more danger that the BTA if he plays too near it.
Make sure you put food in the anemone, I feed mine meaty stuff like shrimp and squid and crab etc. and that has worked pretty well so far. My anemone is about a year and some odd months old so good luck!

380 to 440 watts of VHO should do the trick for a bubble tip, and this can be purchased on line for much less than an LFS.
If you go the VHO route then look for bulbs by URI. 50/50 and the actinic blues.

Absolutly you can wait a week or two. If things really get tough then you can take it back and ask the LFS just to babysit if for a while, if they are a good LFS then they should.
You know where to look for lights don't you?

IMO, your anemone will not do well low in the tank!! he should be attached to a peice of live rock and positioned near the top of the tank to receive ample light intensity and water current!! did you upgrade your lighting? try to reposition him and feed a small cut piece of raw shrimp by placing it in the middle of his tenticles. i use plastic tongs to do this. good luck!!:cheer:

BTA's do like to have there foot in a rock crevase or cave. Mine like to be just about as hight as they can get.
As to the food just thaw some mysis, and use a turkey baster to gently blast some into its tenticals.
