I have an anemone and two clown fish in a 26 gallon Nano tank.My problem is the anemone is sitting on a live rock with a whole in it. It keeps going back and forth through the rock. Is there any way to move it to a different rock? I've only had my tank for about 2 months, so I'm still learning. Someone please help! I don't want to damage it.:(

My rose bubble tip anemone is on a rock with numerous holes and it does this morning and night (and something throughout the day depending on how much the fish annoy it). It's fine, it doesn't damage it at all. If it can do it on it's own, repetitively, it'll be fine. I don't recommend moving it, because it'll probably either go back to where it came from or move all over your tank, with the possibility of stinging corals in the process until it finds a new home. If you really, really must move it, you're going to have to make sure that all of the base is out of the whole and then gently remove it at the base from the rock, along the same lines of how you'd remove a really stuck on suction cup.

+1....Let it move where it wants to, unless it starts touching corals or getting near powerheads. The clowns will go to the anemone no matter where it's at. Another alternative, if possible, is to lay the rock down flat so the anemone cannot pass thru the hole.

3g's once a week, or 5g's every other week...
after you have the tank a while, you will know what works best....I do all my water changes every other week

Hello! I have a 29 gal biocube. I have been running it for about 1 mos now. I love it. I want to get a bubble tip anemone for my clown fish. I have been researching anemones a lot because I have heard they are difficult to keep. I know that the water quality has to be very good. I have ready that they eat meaty foods also. But...how do you feed them? I have heard turkey basters, tongs...
Thanks for the help in advance.

Turkey baster. Let the meaty food flow through it's tentacles and the anemone should catch it on its own.
