Help with bubble tip

I have a small bubbletip anemone which I tried to place on a rock..HA...well it moved down onto the sand...The question is: Will a bubble tip foot in the sand, or will it just become unhappy???

It will pretty much go where it's happy.

they move all around until it finds a place that it likes. the plus side if it is on the sand and you want to rremove it from the tank it will be easy without damaging it's foot. but no worries about it being on the sand

well youread so much about them liking their "feet" in rock, and mine keep moving to sand. I have a rock anemone that is hanging upside down under a rock??? Seems to be fine though. Just hard to see.

they go to some weird places but as long as they are not bleached looking they are fine. I had one that stayed under the rock on one of my caves. Like I said they move to where they like best.

The bubble tip or the rock anemone? The rock anemone is nowhere a camera can get to.

Sorry for not answering, but the bta moved into a cave and in now under a rock and there is no way I can get a pic. I guess I just have to wait and see if it ever comes out...
