help with coral, being eaten or too much light ?

I just got this , I think it's a finger leather. It looked good last night, polyps were out. Today there are 2 fingers ( on the right ) that are white now. Is it from too much light ? I have 3 rows of reebrite xho led's. I have a flame angel and copper band butterfly, I havent seen them picking at it but that is a possibility.I put it under a shaded area. Any suggestions ? thanks

It looks like something chewed on it.......what else is in your tank?

coral beauty, flame angel, coral banded butterfly, naso tang, yellow tang, clown and a couple of small damsels. hermits, coral banded shrimp, cleaner shrimp.

What size tank? Do you mean Copperbanded Butterfly????

125 gallon, yes copperbanded butterfly. I had a ton of aptasia and it got rid of it all

I have a toadstool leather about 12" across and other soft leathers that have never been bothered.
BTW is that a finger leather, the guy at the LFS said it is

YES, looks like a finger leather to me......an unhappy one though
I have a finger leather, toadstool, yellow leather, and cauliflower leather,.......LOL...and I still say it looks like something nibbled on it

thanks for the replies. Right now I have it under a plastic thing with holes so nothing can get at it. I think the butterfly might have to go. I just placed an order for more corals and a couple of clams. Last time I put the trap in to catch something, he went right in. I just have to find it a home or trade at lfs.
