Help With Coral

[fish crazy]

I have a green goniopora coral and it has a wierd white slime on it, here are some pics. please help me is this bad or good and if its bad how do i cure it???

Can't be to sure but that white blob looks like a sponge, If so very harmless, very beneficial.

I was thinking sponge to.I wonder if the sponge can smother it though
