Help with Corals

Well its been 2 weeks and I think the zoos are gone. Still a slim change the others will recover. I've been racking my brain and the only thing I can think of is that it was the sand storm. I also didn't acclimate them right. I thought I only had to float the bags and temp acclimate them. I should have dripped them.
I guess I have to start over and hope for the best since I can't find another cause and so I can't fix it.

When you first got the corals in, did you start them at the bottom of your tank and slowly work them up higher after a few weeks? That's a lot of light and can cook corals if you don't get them used to it.

No Wax, I placed them where I thought I wanted them to be. That must be it. I just got a green bubble today that's in the middle of the tank. I dripped it for over an hour. I got it FREE from my son's science teacher. It was too big for his tank. Its about 5 inches long. Really nice looking. Should I move it down to the bottom of the tank?
Also, when I first got my corals I had only had my lights for a week and had a lot of green algae for the first month or so. Was that part of the problem too?

I think your problem is the sand storm. I have put torches and bubble coral very close to the lights with no problems. Sand Storms cause sand to get into the body of coral. Corals use a lot of energy to expel sand from it system. This can cause major stress on the coral.
I lost many plate, and brain corals because of a power head falling from a suction cup.

Yep, damn powerheads! Can't live with them and can't live without them. Fixed that problem, no more suction cups, I have mine attached with brass rods now.
