help with equipment

I've been reading threads for about 6 months and I think I'm about ready to start my new hobby.
I want to start with a 150 gallon tank.
The pet store said I needed a list of all the equipment and what I wanted to start with.
I wanted to have aggressive fish. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Also, could anyone give me a list of some aggressive fish that would be good to start with.

Volitan Lionfish
Niger Trigger
Spiny Box Puffer
Just some ideas. I'm not sure about putting them all in a tank together, though.

Do keep in mind that many agressive fish are not reef safe. And you will not be able to keep many inverts like shrimp.
So if you had a fish only with LR tank in mind with agressive fish that's o.k. But if you had any thoughts of having shrimp, corals, etc. Then you might want to re-evaluate the agressive idea.
As far as equipment. Spend the money on the lighting and skimmer. They are 2 very important things. Also start with a 150 that's drilled if you can. Dealing with the hang-ons (like i have) can be a pain.

the pet store doesnt need a list of what you want. why would they? so they can sell it all to you in one shot. that is a waste of money. if you are gonna buy the tank from them, fine. do it, place it in your house, and then research your equipment and what you want to do with the tank and order online, or shop around for better prices. if not , you will be taken for a ride.

Totally agree with Saltn00b, you can buy from them,as long as they're not trying to rake you over the coals. Research your equipment, then buy the best you think you can afford. Like said, don't skimp on the skimmer, if you are just having fish then lighting in not as crucial. If you do plan on corals and other inverts(anenomes) don't skimp on lighting either. Many different companies selling the same thing, always look for good prices. More $ for inhabitants, right.
