Help with ID

can someone help me ID these 2 things, I purchased this LR for my local LFS and they are starting to pop up I know the 1 is some sort of polyp but what is to the left some sort of sponge maybe? and I want to make sure I have appropriate lighting for them to grow properly I initially wasn't going to do corals but what the heck they popped up so I'll give them a chance

honestly imo they dont seem to be living corals! Looks to be skeletons of dead coral. I could be wrong though just my opinion!

almost looks dead or dying to me, whatever it is. If you just started your tank and are still cycling, there's a good chance that it won't survive...
