I should be receiving my canopy for my 125 gallon this week :joy: and I was wondering if my lights will give me the oppurtunity to keep whatever corals I want. I have 3X175 Watt MH(2 10K's & 1 20K) and I just got a 250watt PFO halide(I need to replace the bulb) with 2x22watt compact supplements built into it. So 4 Metal Halides all together, and I know that they should be mounted perpindicular with the tank with spider reflectors on the 175's. Please give me recommendations or opinions on how to set this up the best and also what Kelvin bulb I should get for the 250? Thanks ***)

well yes u should be able to keep anything if it was just based on lighting....
i personally would go with just 3-250W DE's 14K Phoenix's on a tank ur size... much better than mixing and matching bulbs and wattages....
and with 14K u dont need actinics

Well I already have the 3 175's and I should receive the 250 this week. So I am not ready to upgrade all the lights just yet. But for the mean time what is the best way to set these lights up? I have 2-10K 175s 1-20k 175 and I need a bulb for the 250 so what color should that be? and should I go 1 10k one 20k 1 10k and then a 14k 250, how should I stagger them?
