it sounds like i have the same tank. Its a 35 gallon hexagon tank. Its by a window that gets alot of sun. But i just started putting coral in it. My light is only like 16 watts and isnt even a grow light. I couldnt get life rock to grow but i have an anenome and i put it by the window and its does great. I also put a colt coral and its seems to be doing fine also. The people i talked to said that you may be able to get away with most soft corals. Cause i looked everywhere for a strong light and it was not to be found. Just start off with like a 5 dollar anenome and see how it does. if that doesnt work try a colt although they are like 20 dollars. Good luck. Keep me up dated on how its going so i can try to help
