help with lighting

i have a 40w daylight and 40w actinic is that good ; its a 10 or 12g tank
can i put any thing in my tank with that lighting.............10.000k

If you are asking about corals or anemones, that is not enough light.
There are nonphotosynthitic corals you may want to look into though such as sun corals, and chili corals. Or inverts such as feather dusters are a nice addition.

That seems like a lot to me. I have always read that you should have 1-2 watts per gallon. That would make your tank 4 watts per gallon. I am not sure. I would wait for other posters.

Actually thats about 8 watts per gallon. He has 2 bulbs 40w each. Id say he can get away with shrooms, zoos.
