help with my angle pls

i've purchased a king angel the other day and all was fine he eats great has great color and seems healthy how ever from time to time he'll flash a little or flick his pectoral fins theres nothing on him that i can see i very curious on what can be bothering him .
tank size=125
amonia=0
trites=0
trate=5ppm
ph=8.0
any help i would glady appreciate

Keep a VERY close eye on it. What other fish are in with him?

Whne you say "flash", is the fish glancing off the rocks? The fin movement is not uncommon with these fish. Most angels I've kept do this from time to time. I'd agree with watching for other symptoms. It might be indicative of a parasite.

That is highly indicative of parasites. The gill plates are a common place for parasites to go first because the tissue there is soft. Are you working on setting up a qt? How much live rock and how many inverts do you have? If this is ich then you will have to treat them both. Those are the only two fish?

setting up a qt as we speak i have a spare 55 hanging around , it a fowlr so no inverts,100 lbs of live rock and 100 lbs of sand, and yes those are the only two fish its weird thou when i just have the atinics on or no light my angle doesnt flash or anything but when i run the 10000 k's is when he starts to act up

It may not be parasites, but you don't want to have a population explosion of parasites and not be ready. Get the qt cycled. Add a few pieces of live rock to the qt. The bacteria will colonize on the other surfaces of the qt.

not to mention in my qt im running some leftover bioballs so there will be plenty of area for the bacteria to flourish
