Help with new coral

Do I have to "place" my new coral or will they position themselves? This is my first try with these things:notsure:

What kind of coral did you pick up?
Have you acclimated it yet?
Generally you want to introduce them to your tank at the bottom. To allow them to adjust to your lighting. Than place them in an appropriate location.

They are the mushroom corals from this site. I have 2 of them and just got through with the acclimation process. I have "released" them into the tank and they are sitting on the bottom now.

I "placed" mine on a shelf on my LR and within a day or two it attached a "foot" and has been stationary since. No need to glue or anything.
