I have a 90 gallon tank that i have cycled for 3 weeks with live sand. I (against my bettor judgement now) used tap water to fill the tank. i put 2 percula clowns in the tank and they have been doing well for 4 days.
The fish are actively swimming and eating, so I think they are healthy. I have the biggest fluval canister filter on the tank.
My question is there seems to be a light flim forming at the top of the tank - it isn't thick, but when you look down into the tank from the top you can see a slight film or discoloration. Is this protein? Do I need a skimmer?
