Help with new tank.

I finally got my wifes permission to buy my last and final tank. Im looking around the 180 range. Does anyone know what range does lighting and equipment starts to cost more. Im looking for the tank the lighting, filtration. etc.. i know when you jump sizes the prices jump varley large also. which tank is reasonable with the equipment. I have a max of 3-5 years left before iwoould be confined to my stupid wheel chair. once this gets answered i woill need some info on the filtration and the lights. Thanks

the deeper the tank is... the stronger your lighting needs.

what kind of tank? FOWLR or reef? the general rule is a halide every 2 feet of oyur tank so you will need three halides, then it depends if you want supplemental lighting for effects or growth.. depends on the halide brand, weathe rits a retro-fit of a unit etc. etc. there are SOOO many variables that play int his evan what corals you want to keep will be a determining factor.. it could be cheap or it could cost you a few grand in just lighting.. narrow it down and we can all help ya out

i have a 65 tall reef tank that is doing awesome. Im going for another reef tank also. I know when i looked at equipment for this tank most of it is for 75 gal. I was hoping to get info on the standard price equipment for a 180. I found the fluval fx for a 400 gallon. the Mh im going with are 3-250's and im probably going with some VHO. what i want to know is a 180 a huge price difference from a 120 or so. The tanks are both glass but im not sure about the prices to maintain etc...
