Sorry just saw your post about the cloudy eyes. I feed my fish frozen mysis, brine, marine cuisine, squid and cyclopeeze. When I melt the cubes I soak it in vitamins and garlic for 10 to 15 minutes prior to feeding the fish. They all are eating well and I also feed the tangs some algae sheets each day. Id say about half the fish have the symptoms of the cloudy eyes. It does seem that the carbon might help the problem though.

I would never question your knowledge of electricity transfer BUT
You do know that overhead power lines use the open air and height as insulators? Most are bare wire conductors. I assume the lack of insulation on miles and miles of power transmit ion is a major cost saving

And they aren't grounded...
If the birds were absolutely monstrous and could touch the ground and power line at the same time, they would create enough fried chicken to feed a village.
