Pufferfish are aggressive fish. They'll eat those foods. All you have to do, is cut the pieces small enough for it to eat it.

thank you.. also does anyone recomend soakin it in that fish "vitamins" that is epensive but is supposed to be really good?

Yes, I use it and strongly think you should do it. I have zoe. These minerals help boost up your fish's immune system. It works for frozen foods, not for flake. When you add the minerals, wait a couple of minutes, so the food can absorb the minerals. Then you can feed your fish.

when people say "soak" the food.. and i filling up say a container with this vitamin and adding the food... or just a couple drops of it??

What I do is add the food in a little container, or a little cup, and add drops to the food, the food will then slowly absorb the minerals.

Your welcome. Any other questions you have about aggressive fish just ask, I should know it. You can also get advice from more people, if you ask things about aggressive fish in the aggressive forum.

I would say no to the shrimp and it depends on the size of the crabs and the puffer as to whether they will be safe for a while. I have a Toby in my tank with tow starfish and he leaves them alone. But he will devour live ghost shrimp when I feed them to that tank. They are the size of any shrimp you might be purchasing.......Best of luck

In my 90-gal fish-only tank, we have a porcupine puffer and a fingerprint toby. No shrimp, no crabs. My puffer got ahold of my Sally lightfoot and made very short work of it. My cucumber and certain starfish are ok, but I wouldn't recommend putting serpent stars in, as they may hold some appeal, and they have no defense. Puffers will eat almost anything you put in. And you don't really have to cut the shrimp up, they will chew it into pieces. I just drop a few whole frozen krill in and within a few minutes they are all gone. They are very interesting to watch, and very intelligent. After time it will associate it's keeper with food, and will "beg" at the front of the tank any time you are in the room. Also, do you have any type of cleaner wrasse? Puffers are VERY prone to ick, so you may want to consider it if you don't already have one. Good luck!

 I've had two puffers; the spotted one and the porcupine one....I use to feed them krill, planton, any meaty food from Sallys. They also eat snails, lobsters and shrimp.
