Help With Randall's Goby

i recently acquired a randall's goby from friend and it has been 3 or 4 days since i received it. it still has not eaten anything, any suggestions?????? please help.

he may be stressed out. check your water parameters such as nitrites as well as nitrates. maybe when you feed the fish turn off your filter so that it doesnt suck up food and watch to see if he eats. good luck

I just picked one up and noticed had the same problem after acclimation.
They're bottom feeders, so make sure that food is getting to the bottom of the tank and not getting eaten by faster more aggressive fish. Also try enticing him with food soaked in garlic.
I used a turkey baster to get food to the bottom of the tank and my Goby's hideout. It took a couple of feedings, but he's eating a variety of foods at this point.

I rarely see mine eat anything, once in awhile I see it take in a flake or 2, but nothing else. I put pellets inside his cave for him and his pistol shrimp, so i assume he is eating them in the privacy of his own home
I have had him for about 6 months, and he looks nice and healthy, just a private eater.
