Help with set up question

My tank is a 125 with built in overflows, each overflow can handle 1200 gph. I will have a 20gal sump and 29 gal fuge. I want to use two mag pumps in the sump for return. One will T between the main tank and the fuge, and the other one will T between the main tank and a scwd. I don't know what size pumps to buy? 2 mag 9.5, or 2 mag 12, or 1 mag 9.5 and 1 mag 12. Any suggestions? Also I was thinking of having two 350 watt heaters in my sump with the temp. probe in the main tank. Is this too much or not enough? Thanks

2-mag 12 or one large pump... I would run the one that tees to the refug through a spray bar. If you set it up right no powerheads should be needed.
You may want to consider something like a 40g breeder for the sump. That's a lot of water flowing through a 20g. With a 40g it would allow more room for baffles so no bubbles make it back to the pumps.

That's a lot of flow through a small sump. If your tank has 1" bulkheads then you wont see that kind of flow.
The idea is to get most of your flow though other means, like a Closed loop or powerheads. You want to do a 5-10x turnover rate in the sump.

that means your overflows will do more like 700-800 gph (each) Like I said above, you want to turn the tank over about 5-10X in the sump, meaning you want about 600-1200 gph going through the sump. Seeing how your sump is on the small side I'd shoot for the low end.
