Hello... this is my first post, and I am very new to the hobby...
I have kept freshwater systems for a long time, but now i am looking to upgrade to salt water... My idea is to set up my 75 gallon tank with a zebra lionfish...
I was just wondering if that tank was big enough... and also if i would have any rrom for any other fish in the tank along with the lion....
Thank you very much for any help....

The Zebra Lionfish is actually a dwarf lion reaching around 7 inches. Your tank is plenty large enough for one. In choosing tankmates you want to make sure the other fish is too large to fit in the lions mouth. They will eat fish almost as large as themselves.
An eel, a Hogfish, a large enough Foxface or grouper would work as well, But you will be limiting the total number of fish and any inverts when you go with these carnivores.

Well, You could. They get over a foot long, so you are talking about a huge fish. You would also have to purchase ghost shrimp to feed him. They are a little more difficult to acclimate than the smaller fish. You do know their spines are venemous dont you? and can be very painful and dangerous if you get stung. Are you sure you want to start with one of these? If you get one, it would probably be best to be your only fish-he could be a pet.
