For starters I'd say a likely source of your problems may be in the amount of fish you keep in your 29....

The bio-load on your system is a bit excessive in my opinion and could lead to serious problems. Tell us how long this system has been running and provide current results for nitrite/nitrate/ammonia/PH/temp....its very possible that your filtration can not adaquately process the load placed on it...which will contribute to problems.
I won't go into problems associated with your choice of fish in a 29 ... I deviate from the norm in that regard...but not anywhere near to the excess you've gone!I would suggest you research the needs of the fish you've mentioned and decide for yourself if you've provided adaquate space for them....:(

7 fish in a 29 gallon? No wonder you are having problems with death. The two tangs are just too much for such a small tank, hell one tang is too much for a 29 gallon.

Personally I don't think 3 additional filters would help the current bio-load.....research/knowledge/patience/experience would be much better at this point than another filter.
Here is a good starting point:

what are your water levels? i take it there probably pretty high. i have a 55 with 1 yellow tank and im thinking of trading it in to my lfs cuz he is pretty big and he cant swim like he did befor ei put the lr in but he does look cool going in and out of all the holes and caves. i cant imagine haveing 4 tangs in a 55 even a 29. take them back and get store credit till you get those levels down then come back
